Building an army of well-trained, well-resourced, and well-supported therapists in the US, Canada, and beyond, is my purpose with a capital ‘P’.
There is more need for first rate trauma informed IFS in the US and Canada, than I can fathom. The need humbles me. And as therapists who are ‘helpers’ by nature, we can often become burdened by that need, and end up working ourselves to the point of burnout.
Despite working too many hours, many have trouble paying the bills! How do we grow our community, find the support we need, and put ourselves first, when doing such emotionally and intellectually challenging work? That is what I am about.
